It was Katrina Kaif holding on to the title ‘world’s sexiest woman’ for the past two years and now, the title has been passed to Deepika Padukone. FHM magazine’s new special issue has voted sultry beauty Deepika Padukone as the most sexiest woman of the year.
“It’s cool, I love it,” said Deepika.
On the cover, Deepika dazzles in a black and white sequined backless dress and proves why she has toppled Katrina.
Last year, she was ranked sixth on this list.

Bollywood’s sweetest couple, Kajol and Ajay Devgan may soon land up in the middle of a box office clash. According to reports, their individual films will release around same time.
Ajay’s ‘Aakrosh’, directed by Priyadarshan, is releasing on October 1, while Kajol’s ‘Love You Maa’, a remake of Hollywood flick Stepmom, will also release the same week.
If this happens it would be one of the rare occasions in Bollywood when a husband and wife will compete with each other.

The monsoon rain during the weekend in Mumbai dampened the spirits of the shooting crew on the sets of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Dabangg in Film City.
On Friday evening, the crew was all ready to shoot a sequence in which a factory was to be set on fire. But their mission couldn’t be accomplished, thanks to the rain. The entire unit waited till late in the night for the rain to subside, but by the time it did, the set was soaked to its foundations. Setting it on fire was out of question.
So the dejected crew called for a pack-up and decided to shoot the fire sequence the next day.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan, after hogging the limelight during IIFA is now ready to head to Sri Lanka again to shoot for director Anees Bazmee’s film ‘Ready’ with Asin.
Wonder if Sallu bhai is aware of the boycott by south Indian film industry.

The movie Aisha is a very special, different and a very stylish flick, portraying the contemporary youth in a new, vibrant way. The Sonam-Abhay starrer is imbued with freshness.
Producer Rhea Kapoor (Sonam’s sister) and Sanjeev Bijli, the joint managing director of PVR Limited, are proud and thrilled for their fresh film ‘Aisha’.
The most amazing part about the film is that the average age of the cast and crew members are between 23 and 25. Inspired by Jane Austen’s Victorian gem ‘Emma’, the film is directed by Rajshri Ojha.
Aisha is all about friendships and new-age relationships. The story narrates Aisha, played by Sonam, who is head-strong yet feminine, and her gang of friends.
“The outfits in Aisha are beautiful and relatable” says Rhea. She has worn lots of lace and pretty, trendy outfits for the film. While the smart aleck Abhay Deol (Arjun Burman), an investment banker in the film, is a “clotheshorse”. His personal style is casual yet fun.
Can’t wait to watch this movie. It sounds so young and pure fun. 
Aisha is set to release on August 6.

Thje super sexy Kareena Kapoor wants to be well-rounded again. Well, she has recovered from her ‘Size Zero’ frenzy I guess. The actress, who was quite healthy as a teenager, once again wants to get back those curves, which she shed during the making of ‘Tashan’.
The actress, who is shooting ‘Golmaal 3’ in Hyderabad, revealed that, “For once, things are the exact opposite for the two of us. Lolo (Karisma) is trying to lose her post natal fat; and I’m trying to put on a little weight.”
“I want to be perfectly rounded. I’m bored of being too thin. And I actually enjoy eating at a neighbourhood café,” Kareena said.
Bebo is also missing her family like hell. “God I’m missing Mumbai and I’m missing spending time with Lolo and my nephew,” she said.

A steamy kissing scene between Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan in ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ has been much talked about lately.
However the actress denies that she has done such a scene. She does however admit that there as some sensuous scenes between the two.
“I have never kissed him. We have done a song Ho Sakta which is sensual. We were quite comfortable doing that as it is a part of the job,” says Sonam.
While Imran is comfortable holding only his fiancee Avantika hand, Sonam on the other hand would not like to do anything which she can’t sit and watch with her family.
Well, this confirms that there was no kiss between the two.

Members of Tamil community staged a protest on Sunday against bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan. He is due to visit the 11th IIFA awards ceremony in Colombo from June 3-5.
The Tamil film fraternity has also rejected the idea of an Indian film event in Srilanka. Their main problem with Salman Khan is that, they gave him a letter and he did not accept it.
Popular Tamil actors Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan, Vijay, Ajith and Surya are also not taking part in IIFA and declined the idea of an Indian film event in IIFA.
Similar protests were held near Amitabh Bachchan’s residence on May 11.
